About This Position:

 

TITLE:  Psychiatric Nurse-Evaluation and Treatment Facility 0.9 FTE

 

DUTIES:  Primary responsibility is to provide evaluation and triage of admitted psychiatric patients at the Evaluation and Treatment (E & T) Facility. Medication administration and provide assessments, evaluation, and medication management to clients with persistent mental illness.  Provide liaison and coordination between psychiatric services, PCPs, and clients in regard to medical issues.  Maintain a safe working environment, including but not limited to safe clinical and nursing practices, compliance with safety protocols, etc. Complete clinical documentation.  

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:  Successful applicants will need an Associates of Applied Science or equivalent nursing degree.  Bachelor’s Degree preferred. Be licensed, as minimum as “Licensed Practical Nurse” with the WA State Department of Health.  Licensed as a “Registered Nurse” preferred.  Must have good written & oral communication skills.  Computer literacy desirable – clinical software used.    Abstract of driving record for past three years required. Satisfactory criminal history backgrounds check results are a condition of employment.

 

SALARY AND BENEFITS:  Benefits include health, dental, vision and life insurance, retirement benefits, holidays and paid leave. Starting annual salary based on qualifications and experience. Continuing education opportunities provided. Hourly wage for RN $37.50+ / LPN $31.59+.

 

WORK SETTING:  This position is located in Colville, WA.  Colville is located 69 miles North of Spokane in the beautiful mountain setting of Steven's County.
