Counts

Case Count Last Updated: 3:30 pm 05/11/2020 Ferry  Pend Oreille Stevens  Total all Three Counties
Total # Confirmed Positive 1 2 9 12
Total # Negative  144 247 697 1088

Currently Hospitalized 0 0 1 1
# Deaths 0 0 1 1

Total # Confirmed Positive: Reports the total number of confirmed positive cases in Ferry, Pend Oreille and Stevens Counties. While deaths are reported separately this number would include any positive cases that also resulted in death.

Currently Hospitalized: Reports confirmed positive cases that are currently being hospitalized.

Recovered Cases: While we would like to be able to report on the number of recovered cases, we simply do not have a reliable or accurate way to track this data. Many individuals infected with COVID-19 show mild or now symptoms, will not require medical care, and are never tested. We do know that many of our confirmed cases are improving and being released from isolation, but without a uniform definition of the term “recovered” we can only accurately report confirmed cases, hospitalizations, and deaths.

How is NEW Health prepared for COVID-19 in our community?

NEW Health is prepared and ready to care for patients with suspected cases of COVID-19.  Our clinical teams have been trained on how to identify, isolate and care for patients with this and other contagious illnesses. All clinics have protocols and systems in place to keep patients, visitors and health care workers safe, and we work closely with the Washington State Department of Health and Northeast Tri-County Health Department as well as the CDC to implement their guidance into our established protocols.

We offer curbside care, courtesy-mail pharmacy, and telemedicine visits at all of our locations, plus drive-thru patient care and pharmacy pickup at our Chewelah, Colville and Lake Spokane locations.  Call (509)935-8424 for more information.

Coronavirus/COVID-19 Testing:

NEW Health offers screening for COVID-19, and testing if indicated, at all clinic sites, from the comfort of your own vehicle. Additionally, there is no appointment necessary at our Drive-Thru Patient Care Clinics in Chewelah, Colville and Nine Mile Falls (Lake Spokane).
